This is a blog for my photos. I am going to be a senior this year and plan to go to business school after finishing highschool, after earning a degree in business I plan to go to an art school to further my skills in photography. My goal is to achieve my dream career as a professional photographer. I do lots of landscape photography but I enjoy other genres of photography too, such as city-scape, abstract, Astrophotography, etc...

Half Skating
Hello again, this photo is so intriguing to me. The legs and long board featured in this photo belong to my girlfriend. We were out skating several nights ago to catch the sunset. I had brought along my camera to capture the sunset so my camera was handy as I was skating behind her. I thought that this would make for a great photo opportunity so I went for the shot...*camera clicking* and BAM!!! I got this amazing photograph. I opened the photo up in Lightroom and adjusted the tone and hue/saturation among many other things (too many to list). I decided upon manually creating this sort of a sepia effect resulting in the image seen. I must say too that I primarily focus on landscape photography and inspired by John Clement, a well known landscape photographer from my community, and although landscape is my main focus, I like to venture off into different categories such as this. I titled this photo "Half Skating" because you are only viewing half of her body. I still don't know what intrigues me so very much about this photo. I am considering getting a small print of this and matting and framing it. And if you are reading this Rachael, yes I would love to get one matted and framed for you! hmmmmm.......birthday present maybe? guess you will have to wait and find out. Please leave comments if you would like! I would love to here some feedback, criticism is a good thing from my perspective. P.S. I have school finals next week so I may have to slow down on the blogging so that I can study for finals.
